Who it suits
It suits someone who has finished the AT, the PCT, the CDT or another long trail, and section hikers who did part of one. The first example is a section of a walk the length of Norway; the others are Norwegian day hikes. A long trail becomes a poster the same way, on a map of wherever it went.

Make the poster yourself
If you have the GPX file from the trip, or you did it together, make the poster with the route, the date and a few photos. Choose printed or framed and it comes by post.
Give a gift card
Not sure which trip it should be? With a gift card the recipient picks the trip and makes the poster. You get the gift card as a PDF by email right away.

Questions and answers
The hike is saved as many GPX files. What do I do?
Upload one file with the whole trail, or up to 20 files at once, and they are joined on one poster. If there are more than 20, merge them into fewer files first.
Can I give it before the hike is done?
Give a gift card. They make the poster when they reach the end, with the whole route. The gift card is valid for two years.
How much is a poster?
A digital poster to download is $15. A printed poster is $39 in A4 and $55 in A3. A framed poster is $79 in A4, $109 in A3 and $149 in 50 x 70 cm. Prices are in US dollars, and shipping is free.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order by December 12 (United States), December 11 (Canada), December 12 (Australia), December 8 (New Zealand), December 12 (Norway) for delivery before Christmas. The digital poster and the gift card come by email right away, so they still arrive after those dates.
What if I do not have the GPX file from the trip?
Give a gift card for $55, $109, or $149. The recipient uploads their own trip and makes the poster, and you get the gift card as a PDF by email right away. You can also start from one of the famous routes on this page.
